Over The Road
Truckload\Exclusive Use Equipment is available for Enclosed Vans, Temperature Controlled Vans, Flatbeds, and Specialized Equipment. Service levels of normal transit to expedited guaranteed delivery depending on your requirements.
LTL Equipment is available for Enclosed Vans and Flatbeds. Service levels of normal transit to expedited guaranteed delivery depending on your requirements.
Rail
Intermodal equipment is available from 20' containers to 53' enclosed vans. Transit times vary depending on the lane. Intermodal shipping is normally more cost effective and provides a shipper with a "green" option.
Carload shipping is the ultimate "green" shipping option if you and your customer have rail siding service. Transit times vary greatly but for shipments of 150,000 lbs and up OR 12,000 ft3 and up it is the most efficient mode of transportation next to water.
Water
Container service is available to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and US Possessions.
Ro-Ro trailer service is available to Alaska and Puerto Rico.
Barge service for bulk commodities is available on the Great Lakes and Inland Waterways.
Air
We provide customer-specific airfreight forwarding programs to shippers of all sizes. Operating as an IATA registered air freight forwarder, we understand that air freight is a premium and costly service, every program focuses on proper preparation of documentation, quick transit and constant communication. Our package programs caninclude insurance, ground transportation, packing and labeling. Our transport options include door to airport, airport to airport and airport to door, or door to door as required. The Department of Homeland Security will require on August 3, 2010 that the TSA provide cargo screening and security checks on 100% of air cargo. LLI is at the forefront of this monumental task by implementing rules and procedures now to ensure our customers merchandise is not delayed and penalties are not assessed.
